Panasonic has made significant advancements in this area, with the latest VMZ82 Series, for example, delivering 25% greater energy efficiency compared to previous LCD projectors and the VMZ7ST Series increasing power efficiency by nearly 53%.

Further savings come from intelligent features such as Auto Power On, which reduces energy usage when idle by only activating projection when a signal is detected. This has a substantial impact on reducing energy consumption across venues that rely on multiple AV installations.

Lifetime maintenance costs are also an important consideration for venues and rental and staging businesses, where equipment longevity is crucial. Many Panasonic projectors can operate maintenance-free for up to 20,000 hours, equating to 10 years of service at 40 hours per week. This ensures lower costs, minimal downtime, and reduced operational disruption while eliminating the need to store and transport excessive replacement parts.
